Aikido Yukon is a non-profit organisation established in 2002. It is dedicated to the promotion and development of Aikido and Budo.

ACTIVITIES

Over the last 20 years, Aikido Yukon has conducted over15 seminars all across Yukon communities and has invited several high ranked guest intructors.

Almost every summer we host a one week seminar with Toshiro Suga Shihan 7th dan.

Week-end seminars and summer camps are also regularly organized when time and volunteer capacity allows.

AFFILIATIONS

Aikido Yukon follows Toshiro Suga Shihan 7th dan under Tokyo Aikikai mandate.

Aikido Yukon is affiliated with Kinomichi International Instructors Association (K.I.I.A.) for the development of Kinomichi.

Gaël Marchand

He has been studying and teaching Aikido for 30 years.
He has obtained his Professional Sport Coaching Diploma in 1998, and studied Aikido under Daniel Martin (6th Dan) , Toshiro Suga (7th Dan) , Raymond Bish and Masamichi Noro Sensei founder of Kinomichi.
He obtained the 5th Dan from Tokyo Aikikai in 2025.
He is also a certified competition Archery coach with Archery Canada.
